This is a very charming and peaceful hotel run by a family and located about 20 mins walking distance from the city's main square. The whole family and staff have been extremely helpful and friendly during the 4 nights we have stayed here. The rooms are very clean, fresh and have modern bathrooms (with rainshower). The garden and pool area are very neat and cosy. On top, the family has accomodated all our wishes; they delivered laundry service, served breakfast at the poolside and much more. The owner speaks French as well, which came in very handy as he explained about the excursions we were making (Celestun, Chichen Itza, Uxmal, City center). In essence, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing by in Merida and looking for a charming and relaxing stay. We hope to come back one day.

The owner, his wife and their two sons were all very helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to make our stay both pleasant and comfortable. For several times, when there was no taxi around the hotel, they offered to drive us to the city center in their own car. They gave excellent recommendation on local restaurants, also helped us to book tour, exchange money, spray mosquito killer etc. All in all, they really made us feel being at home during the stay
The location is not ideal. If you don't drive, you need to take a taxi to get to the central area(cathedral).

Getting around is easy as there are mini buses directly across the street from the hotel, and it's located in a peaceful garden area close to both the historic colonial center and some run-down houses in the area. Rooms are comfortable with amenities such as mini refrigerators, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel doesn't offer food or beverage facilities, so finding a place to eat nearby can be a task.

Great place to stay! The hotel is clean and well-maintained. You can enjoy the beautiful garden and in-ground pool. The staff and family are friendly and extremely helpful, giving us a map and directions to local highlights. There is also a helpful English-speaking proprietor who provided great tips for local excursions. We appreciated the location, close to the city's centre.
To reach the center of the city on foot requires a long 20-minute walk, which can be tiring on the crumbled sidewalks and stone streets. Restaurants and cafes were difficult to find and sometimes required exploring, and they were often without signs in front of establishments.

The hotel had great staff and was located conveniently close to the historic center and a fantastic Mayan restaurant. The cleanliness and facilities were excellent.
Couldn't find any faults at all.
